Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial services, with the ability to analyze complex tax situations and provide effective solutions. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a commitment to maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

Duties

Prepare and file federal and provincial tax returns for the business.
Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings and investment opportunities.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage300 and Yardi for efficient data management.
Assist in financial auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.
