CLERK/TYPIST (25-00002++)

Bargaining Unit: SEIU-HOSPITAL CLERICAL
Status: Full Time TEMPORARY
Department: Eating Disorders Program
Site: Sr. Margaret Smith Centre
Shifts: Days
Rate of pay: $25.104 - $2+.531 per hour.
Qualifications:

Completion of a secretarial arts diploma program or equivalent
A minimum of five (5) years related work experience
Experience in the provision of clerical support for medical and clinical staff
Experience in the preparation and maintenance of clinical records and preparation of medical correspondence
Experience in reception, scheduling and payroll
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, with knowledge of Meditech, CWS, Catalyst - DATIS, StaffRight, GroupWise, Access and web-based data collection systems is required
Demonstrated experience working with the addiction and mental health client population is essential
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must possess excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
Demonstrated regular attendance at work
