Job Description
Interlake School Division invites applications for a Full Time / Permanent Career Development Support Teacher commencing September 2, 2026.
Working closely with ISD’s schools (https://www.interlakesd.ca/school-directory/) , the Career Development Support Teacher will be pivotal in providing students and families with resources, guidance, and opportunities for the exploration of diverse career pathways. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, administrators, and community stakeholders to develop and implement effective career development programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
· permanent Manitoba teaching certificate
· minimum five years teaching experience, preferably at the high school level
· demonstrated leadership abilities
· extensive knowledge of career education and community-based programming
· knowledge of the High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP) in support of establishing and maintaining connections between employers and students
· effective interpersonal, team-building and organizational skills
· possess and maintain a valid Manitoba driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle
