Job Title: Senior Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive
Location: Bahadurgarh (Delhi NCR), Haryana
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our accounting operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis, with a focus on driving efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
· Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
· Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Cost Accounting & Analysis:
· Develop and manage cost accounting systems specific to manufacturing processes.
· Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability.
· Provide insights to optimize cost management and improve operational efficiency.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
· Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
· Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for cost savings.
Taxation & Compliance:
· Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in a timely manner.
· Ensure adherence to local tax laws and liaise with tax authorities as required. Knowledge of import & export procedures desired.
· Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
· Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
· Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
· Supervise and mentor junior accountants and staff.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to align financial operations with business goals.
· Provide financial guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
· Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
· Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing-specific financial processes.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing company.
· In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable tax laws.
Soft Skills:
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders across departments.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
