Remuneration: $2+.48 Per Hour + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Handyperson covering the Inverell Hospital, Inverell Community Health facility and external sites of Ashford, Tingha, Warialda, Bundarra and Bingara.

You will be responsible for:

Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
Maintaining grounds and gardens
Performing minor repairs to furniture and fittings
Assisting trade staff and completing basic trade-related tasks (e.g., painting, welding, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing)
Supporting fleet management, store deliveries, furniture transportation, and function setup
You’ll work both independently and alongside a supportive team of skilled tradespeople and admin staff. Full orientation, on-site training, and ongoing online education are provided.


About You:

Strong communication and organisational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Confident with computers and maintenance software
Previous experience in groundskeeping, general maintenance, or handyperson work
Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between sites
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety procedures
