Security Officer

We're looking for licensed security guards to join our growing team.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Ability to support with 12-30+ hours per week across 4-to-7-day roster.
Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary
MUST wear PPE AT ALL TIMES
Be able to verbally de-escalate any customer aggression and keep staff safe.
Must be comfortable stepping in verbally to assist staff if any aggression.
Adaptable to any situations that arise.
Follow direction of Security Team Leaders at all times.
You will have:

Superior customer and client service skills
Good written and verbal communication
Reporting ability to supervisor
Security experience
Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a collaborative way.
Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding and restraining persons.
Current First Aid certificate
Ability to attain a Working with Children Check
Ability to travel to different locations for work.
Intermediate computer skills.
The successful candidate must have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster
Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:

Certificate II in Security Operations
Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
Ability to workday shift and Night shift when required
Willing to travel to cover multiple locations
Ability to be responsive for ADHOC coverage
Ability to travel without restrictions and own means of transportation
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.22 – $5+.50 per hour
