Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for a Trainer and Assessor. This position is located on site at Kemerton .

What You Will Do

Collaborate with the training team to design and create training materials specifically tailored for site.
Ensure that training content is comprehensive, engaging and aligned with industry best practices.
Deliver high quality training and inductions.
Facilitate learning experiences that enhance competencies and skills.
Foster a positive and effective learning environment.
Manage site training schedule to ensure timely and efficient delivery of training programs
Monitor and track training completion and competencies.
Maintain accurate records of training activities.
Be an active participant in an inclusive culture that values and encourages diversity of thought and promotes team over individual.
Identify potential risks to personnel or plant safety, reliability, quality, or productivity. Resolving issues where possible and escalating where relevant to eliminate these situations.
Work as part of a team to ensure ongoing compliance to Albemarle and regulatory requirements for competency and documentation currency.
Liaise with the departments to identify training needs and create gap analysis against competency profiles.
Continuously Improve the departmental training program to maximize safety and productivity.
What You Bring

Required:

Australian recognized trade qualification highly desirable
Chemical plant / process plant experience highly desirable
A demonstrated ability to design and deliver an effective training curriculum.
Leadership skills and experience.
Demonstrated coaching experience.
A demonstrated ability to identify problems and work in a team to solve root cause and implement long-term solutions to eliminate the problem or improve performance.
Experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Preferred:

Cert IV TAE 40116 or above
