Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to work on the development of medical devices. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying and validating test designs, test scripts, and test execution for CRM's mobile software on Android and iOS platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and implement test scripts in programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, and/or Python, adhering to object-oriented programming principles and Abbott's quality system practices.
Develop and execute automation testing and integration testing strategy for one or more components and/or features, ensuring traceability and compliance with software requirements.
Contribute to assessments of existing designs for new or changing requirements, developing and maintaining verification and validation test artifacts.
Setup and configure test equipment, troubleshoot issues, and estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Participate in gathering and analysis of debug information, evaluation of new tools and test frameworks, and assessment of selected designs through testing and documentation of results.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Software engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience in a range of software engineering disciplines using various programming methods.
Experience with JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Appium, Selenium, and other QA-related tools, as well as working knowledge of mobile software such as Xcode, Android studio, emulators, and simulators.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization, and experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner, with strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
