Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Manufacturing Engineering to lead our Tractor Assembly and Aggregates Assembly productionization, including Transmission, Hydraulics, and Engine verticals.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of greenfield and brownfield projects for tractor assembly and aggregates assembly (Transmission and Engine).
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee the financial and feasibility analysis of projects to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) and revenue expenditure (REVEX) budgets for manufacturing engineering projects.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and make informed build vs. buy decisions.
Facility Planning and Management:
• Plan and manage the development of manufacturing facilities, including layout design, equipment selection, and infrastructure development.
• Ensure optimal utilization of space and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new facilities and equipment.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and manage a team of 30 manufacturing engineers, both directly and indirectly.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure successful project execution.
Qualification & Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 18-20 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, with a preference for experience in the tractor industry.
• Proven track record of successfully executing greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of tractor assembly and aggregates assembly processes (Transmission and Engine).
