Job Description

Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future? If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

What you will do

At Volvo Group Australia (VGA) we aim to lead in the automotive world by creating innovative transport solutions built around making our customers' lives less complicated. We are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking and contribute to our transformation journey.
We are looking for a driven Homologation Engineer to join Volvo Group Australia in a newly created role. In this key position, you will play a vital role in supporting Volvo Group Australia's (VGA) business operations by ensuring that all vehicles supplied to the market are fully compliant with relevant regulations, including the Road Vehicle Safety Act and Australian Design Rules.
Your responsibilities will include technical reviews, setting up and maintaining compliance-related systems, ensuring seamless data entry, and coordinating legal submission workflows to ensure everything runs smoothly.
If you have experience with heavy vehicle specifications, possess a keen attention to detail, and thrive in cross-functional environments, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities:

Set up and maintain Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate systems for compliance and certification submissions, ensuring accurate data entry and smooth operation.
Administer and track vehicle certification submissions, ensuring timely processing, monitoring statuses, and achieving approvals.
Support daily homologation activities and assist in compiling, formatting, and reviewing certification documents.
Identify and implement improvements in homologation and compliance-related processes to enhance efficiency.
Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations such as Australian Design Rules (ADR), ensuring compliance data accuracy and alignment with legal standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and the Homologation Manager to ensure smooth data flow, support audits, and address inquiries related to compliance documentation.
