Routes: Across both the North and South Islands.
Locations: Based out of Hastings.
Hours: min 40 hours, full-time permanent position. You may be away for 1-2 nights at a time.

What you'll do:

Operate B Train combinations for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery to sites across both North and South Island.
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:

A valid Clean Class 5 Licence and Dangerous Goods Licence.
A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience operating Class 5 Truck and B-Train experience is essential.
Experience with Curtain Siders, Truck & Trailer or Container Trailers is desirable.
Sound knowledge of the regional areas and South Island routes.
Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
