Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Broome, WA on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in concrete agitator, hiab, skip bin and tip truck operation and holds licences for high-risk operations of hiab and forklift. Additional machinery tickets such as loader would be beneficial. A current HR drivers’ licence is must. This position will require some remote work.

As a Truck Driver your everyday responsibilities will include:

· Competent operation of various heavy machinery, including concrete agitator truck, tip truck, skip bin truck etc;

· Positioning the trucks into position for loading and unloading;

· Loading, unloading and carting of trucks;

· Batching of concrete, locally and remote, deliver concrete to site with competent use of agitator truck, controls and delivery to customer.

· Performing regular safety and quality checks (i.e. load limitations, distribution of weight etc);

· Daily maintenance of assigned vehicles, including cleaning and work cooperatively with mechanical service personnel in the repair and maintenance of assigned plant, including recording of pre-start checks.

In addition, the right candidate will be required to have the following:

Relevant trade qualification at the level of a Certificate II or higher, OR at least one (1) year of relevant work experience;
White Card;
First Aid Certificate;
Rigging/dogging licence;
Knowledge of mechanical operations;
Experience in concrete operations, construction or engineering;
Excellent customer service skills, including commitment to contributing to and maintaining a culture of Best Practice as the means to improve our service delivery processes;
Commitment to actively participate in training and skill development to suit the work environment’; and
Work within confines of environmental legislation, ensuring best practice work procedures to minimise environmental impact.
This is a full-time position offering a salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per annumplus superannuation is offered.
