Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic Group HR Manager to lead and deliver end-to-end HR operations across a group of national commercial and not-for-profit entities. You'll work closely with executive leaders, provide high-level guidance on people strategy, and oversee an HR Coordinator, while supporting an engaged and skilled workforce.

Your Role

You'll oversee and deliver the full HR function across multiple entities and states, leading a small team and partnering closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and implement HR strategy aligned to business plans
Manage and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle
Oversee performance, engagement, and learning programs
Lead culture and organisational development initiatives
Support Board subcommittees and manage HR reporting
Ensure HR policy compliance and best-practice delivery
Provide expert advice on ER, IR and employment law
Oversee WH&S programs and wellbeing initiatives
Manage the HR Coordinator and corporate service interfaces
What You'll Bring

We're seeking a hands-on, commercially minded HR leader who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

You will have:

Proven experience in HR leadership or senior HRBP roles
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices
Experience managing performance, ER/IR, recruitment, and development
Strategic thinking with a proactive, problem-solving approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, related discipline and/or relevant experience
