Job Description

Unicom New Zealand Ltd is based in Auckland and focuses on IT solutions to various industry needs.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated software developer to join our team and contribute to innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members to design, develop, implement and test high-quality software solutions to meet system designs, requirements, and technical specifications.
Research, analyse, consult, and evaluate user requirements and program needs and translate them into efficient and scalable code.
Test, troubleshoot and debug issues and faults, ensuring smooth system and program performance and minimal downtime.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems.
Write, update, and maintain technical programs, end-user documentation and operational procedures.
Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods.
Provide advice, guidance, and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design, test and update activities.
Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in related computing science with programming training, or at least 5 years proven experience as a Software Engineer/Developer/Tester
Inquisitive mind and motivation to learn new things
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
Extra working hours may be required in case of any urgent projects
