Wedding Videographer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable wedding videographer to film South Asian weddings and related events. This role focuses solely on filming—no editing required. You’ll capture vibrant cultural moments, including pre-wedding events, ceremonies, and receptions, with a focus on storytelling through your lens.

Responsibilities:

Film South Asian weddings and related events (e.g., mehndi, sangeet, nikkah, baraat, reception).
Arrive on time, set up and operate video equipment throughout the event.
Capture key moments, including rituals, performances, candid interactions, and speeches.
Coordinate with the couple, planner, and other vendors to stay on schedule and ensure full coverage.
Safely store and transfer all raw footage after the event.
Requirements:

Experience filming weddings, preferably South Asian weddings.
Strong knowledge of video equipment (e.g., DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, audio mics).
Must own newer Sony bodies such as (FX3, A7iv, a7R V etc)
Ability to anticipate and capture key cultural and emotional moments.
Comfortable working long hours, weekends, and late evenings.
Must own and maintain professional video gear.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
Nice to Have:

Familiarity with South Asian customs and wedding rituals (Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, etc.).
Ability to work as part of a team with photographers and other videographers.
Drone experience (optional).

Pay: $60.00-$120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
