Server Job Description

Duties:

- Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accommodating special requests
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Must know how to make coffee
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and dining utensils
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
