Job Overview

Shoushin, a Michelin starred Japanese sushi restaurant are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our restaurant team in a fine dining setting.

The ideal candidate be passionate about Japanese food, willing to learn with a strong commitment to hospitality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of restaurant experience, fine dining experience an asset.

- A strong sense of urgency, attentiveness, reliable, responsible

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in high-pressure situations.

- Japanese language is a strong asset.

-Smart Serve certification is required

-Work 2-4 days a week Tue-Sun, 4:00pm until close

Duties

- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.

- Help set up and break down dining areas before and after service.

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service.

- Support the restaurant's food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures.

- Handle guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.

- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
