Server/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and sanitized dining area. This role requires a passion for the food industry and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
Handle cash and credit card payments while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Experience

Previous experience in food service or cashiering is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards is essential.
Experience operating a POS system is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$22.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
