Reports to the Mechanical Manager and works under the direction of the assigned Foreperson and or Lead Hand. Performs a variety of tasks in support for the Grounds department .

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Aerial Work Platform Certificate an asset.

Minimum of Grade 10 education or equivalent.

Previous work experience is an asset.

Valid B.C. Driver's licence. Safe driving record.

Ability to follow directions. Good manual dexterity and coordination. Physically capable of performing the duties of the position.

Ability to lift heavy objects in a variety of sizes and weights.

Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Knowledge of WCB and WHMIS regulations is an asset. Safe work practices. Some positions may require the knowledge of a language other than English.
