Production Assembler - Summer Contract

Performs assembly and test activities as outlined in Manufacturing Assembly Protocols (MAPs).
 Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
 Follows all applicable safety procedures and practises safe work habits.
 Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
 Identifies non-conforming components, assemblies and processes by using the NC System process
 Initiates continuous improvement activities in own area, and supports continuous improvement activities of all employees.
 Monitors stock levels in work area and advises Lead Hand regarding shortages.
 Completes work orders, production/time sheets, quality records and other records and requests
 Performs other job activities as instructed by the Lead Hand or Production Leader

QUALIFICATIONS
 Ability to communicate and interact effectively
 Ability to work equally well as part of an assembly team or individually
 Organized with attention to detail.
