Job Description
The RBC Dominion Securities Winnipeg Branch is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Management Team. A successful candidate will be resourceful and thorough in their work. The role is dynamic and requires a self-starter who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates an astute ability to prioritize.
What will you do?
Coordinate and prepare meetings for Management with Investment Advisor teams and support staff.
Provide proactive administrative support with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
Respond to team inquiries.
Assist the Management team with new hire onboarding.
Execute compliance-related projects
Prepare and audit compliance records and documentation
Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date files within appropriate systems.
Follow up on regulatory items to ensure correct documentation is on file
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel
High level of time management and organization skills
Resourcefulness, adapatibility and willingness to learn
Enjoy working with numbers and fine details
Demonstrated skills in providing world-class service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our Investment Advisor Teams
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice-to-have
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
Experience in the securities industry is an asset
