Work Location : Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB), Education Centre, Chesley, Ontario

Supervisor : Crystal Myles, Director's Assistant / Corporate Services Supervisor

Dates : Commencing as soon as possible and ending approximately September 1, 2026, or earlier if incumbent returns or circumstances change.

Status: Temporary full-time, 35 hours per week, 12-18 Month Contract position

Annual Salary: $71,63+-$83,810

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides effective and professional administrative support and assistance to the Director's Assistant/ Corporate Services Supervisor as part of the Corporate Services team, and related duties
Provides corporate services administrative support and assistance
Assist with the coordination of system recognition events
Respond to inquiries, requests and correspondence from parents, teachers, community members, board personnel, trustees and ministry personnel as required or requested
Complete budget and purchasing duties as required
Prepare for meetings as required .(i.e., room bookings, agendas, minutes, equipment requirements, follow ups, etc.)
Report preparation, research and data collection
Maintain confidential files and information
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:

A community college diploma in a related discipline or equivalent certification or experience
Two to three years experience in office administration
Assets:

Exemplary interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
High aptitude in computer operations and skill in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task and co-ordinate jobs/tasks to meet deadlines and handle frequent concurrent tasks in a demanding environment
General knowledge of education system and relevant legislation
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and diplomacy
