The Opportunity

Steve’s Livestock Transport is looking for dedicated Driver Trainer to help our team members reach their maximum potential. This opportunity can be based out of our terminal in Brandon, MB or Blumenort, MB.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-cab training, road tests, ride-alongs and follow up evaluations
Teach progressive shifting techniques on manual transmission vehicles
Follow internal training guidelines & complete regular progress reports
Provide meaningful feedback effectively
Completion of solo runs in between trainees as needed
Experience and Qualification

Valid Class 1A driver’s license with 5+ years’ experience
Clear driver’s abstract
Previous livestock and/or training experience an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Display a positive image of oneself and the Company at all times
