Digital Marketing Assistant- Canada Summer

Chrysalis Woods & Plastics is a Social Enterprise that supports a non-profit that offers personalized services designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities while providing meaningful opportunities for growth and community inclusion.

Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, the Digital Marketing Assistant will work collaboratively with various teams within the social enterprises to support awareness, branding, and community engagement.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Develop photo and video content for social media, websites, events, and other vehicles
Ensure proper consent is obtained
Create digital campaigns to raise awareness of Chrysalis Society and Chrysalis Social Enterprises
Collaborate with leaders, staff, and regulated health professionals
Visit employment/community sites as required for marketing purposes
Act as an ambassador and representative of Chrysalis at events and in the community
Uphold Chrysalis’ reputation in all communication and marketing activities
Enhance Chrysalis’ brand recognition within the community

Qualifications and Requirements

Certificate, diploma, or degree in a related field is considered an asset
Experience working in non-profit organizations is considered an asset
6 months-2 years of related work experience in a similar role
Experience editing video
Clearance from a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
Self-motivated
High organizational and time-management skills
Good interpersonal and social skills
Exceptional team player with a strong ability to contribute positively to a team environment
Able to sit in front of a computer screen for long hours at a time
Ability to work some evenings and weekends
Access to a reliable vehicle considered an asset
