This position reports to Manager, Fixed Assets, Retail.


What you will do:

Collaborate with the stakeholders and perform assets management activities (additions, retirements, and transfers) timely, completely, and accurately in multiple ERP systems.
Perform routine and non-routine journal entries in multiple ERP systems.
Assist in the GL reconciliation process.
Prepare fixed assets reporting for various stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, planning and forecasting, tax department, and others.
Support Retail branches in the fixed assets management process.
Comprehend and comply with company policies and procedures.
Engage in project activities and perform ad hoc tasks.
Contribute to the process enhancement initiatives.


What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or a related field.
CPA designation preferred
2+ years of Fixed Asset accounting experience would be considered an asset.
Working knowledge in Microsoft 365.
Growth mindset with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
Strong attention to details.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
SAP S4 or Peoplesoft experience would be considered an asset.
