Summary
You will play a crucial role in financial management and reporting within the Bell Business Markets Finance group. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented, self-starter individual with exceptional collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of revenue recognition principles, coupled with strong accounting and analytical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive financial support to BBM.
Execute all tasks related to month-end financial analysis, including billing accruals, anomaly investigation, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Offer guidance on planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate revenue projections by month and product portfolio.
Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee precise reporting of revenues.
Actively participate in the revenue recognition process, collaborating with sales and controllers teams to maximize revenue recognition through margin analysis.
Assist with ad-hoc analysis for senior management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Critical Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of financial or accounting experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Capacity to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and timely reporting.
