Job Description
A leading multinational company is looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years' experience in all aspects of accounting and finance functions. Payroll experience is considered a strong asset.
Daily responsibilities include but not limited to:
Handle full cycle of Account Payable
Manage Group Bi-weekly Payroll
Perform weekly / monthly bank reconciliations
Maintain general ledgers and bookkeeping
Prepare Government Remittances, including GST /HST returns, Source Deductions and WSIB Reports
Prepare monthly Financial Reports
Other responsibilities as required by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Minimum 3 years accounting experience
Cantonese or Mandarin considered an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and self-directed
Strong attention to detail
Salary will vary according to previous work experience
