Job Description
• Manage and oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, fixed assets, and payroll functions.
• Take charge of enhancing accounting processes and reporting mechanisms, emphasizing automation.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and negotiate with various partners and alliances.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly Management Information System (MIS) and ad-hoc reports to offer actionable insights to the leadership team.
• Monitor and report the company's fund position regularly, including the preparation of cash flow statements.
• Develop and analyze periodical business plans, budgets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
• Prepare standalone financial statements in accordance with Ind AS.
• Coordinate with statutory/tax auditors, internal auditors, and management to ensure smooth audit completion.
• Establish a comprehensive revenue assurance framework to prevent revenue leakages.
• Oversee accounting operations, analyze financial data, monitor expenditure, forecast revenue, coordinate audit processes, and ensure financial information accuracy.
• Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures to track budgets, expenditures, and forecasts. Collaborate with Business Unit Heads to analyze and optimize costs and maximize profitability.
The Successful Applicant
• Chartered Accountant with 13-16 years of experience in roles closely aligned with the current position
• Retail/B2C/Consumer background
• Proficient in team management, demonstrating leadership qualities.
• Collaborative team player with a track record of effective leadership.
• Possesses exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Exhibits a keen understanding of finance, planning, and accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
