Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records and familiarity with dental software systems. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and maintaining efficient office operations.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using electronic medical records.
Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage phone systems effectively.
Maintain patient records accurately in systems such as Abledent
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Ensure compliance with medical terminology and office protocols.
Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and office workflow.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred.
Proficiency in electronic medical records and dental software (Abledent)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with office phone systems and administrative duties.
A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
