Sales and data entry

We are looking for an Absolutely Fabulous Student!

We are looking for a senior high school or post-secondary student to start immediately. We can offer a flexible part-time ( 20-25 hours or 3-4 shifts per week) position for the summer and will work with your school schedule for the spring and fall. Retail experience is not required, however strong math, reading, writing, communication and computer skills are a necessity. Dress is tidy and casual. Must have dependable transportation.

Maturity and reliability are necessary.

There are two components to this position, retail sales clerk and website data entry. We require a sales clerk in the store 1-2 shifts per week and another 1-2 shifts per week working on our website with data entry (loading products, descriptions, etc). We have a 2 week work rotation so you know your work schedule far in advance.

We train for both positions so no sales experience is necessary but you must have strong computer and writing skills. And it really helps if you like home decor, are detail oriented, and have a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Promote sales by upselling and cross-selling products to customers
- Process customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile cash register at the end of each shift

-Data entry position, entering stock details on website platform, to build and organize website shopping. Accuracy and attention to detail is very important.

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive shopping experience for customers
