Job Description
With our expansive growth, National Shunt Service LTD (NSSL) is looking to expand our Training and Development team. NSSL is hiring a Bilingual Learning & Development Specialist responsible for supporting the design development of programs necessary to facilitate content for online, instructor led and blended delivery models. In collaboration with key business stakeholders, the incumbent will develop and continually improve course materials.

Main Responsibilities:
Designs and builds e-learning courses using Articulate360
Uploading and validating courses & SOPs on an LMS
Prepares storyboards for courseware and script
Prepares and structures test and practical application exercises to validate knowledge transfer
Design job aids supporting documents and training materials as needed
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop interactive content using various multimedia platforms
Analyze client needs, and/or instructional goals and objectives to determine appropriate methods of instructional design for both instructor-led and e-Learning programs
Conduct needs analysis, identify learner performance gaps, make recommendations for improving/revising existing training classes and programs
Research and implement technology solutions for use in learning programs
Acts as in-house champion on training and development, seeks to continuously drive improvement to the learning experience
Administrative follow up with stakeholders and payroll
Any additional duties as required
Qualifications:
Secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education or equivalent experience
CTP or CTDP designation an asset
1-3 years of professional experience with e-learning online software tools/programs
Thorough understanding and experience with audio and video editing tools and graphic software
Knowledge of e-learning development concepts, principles and methodologies
Above average communication skills
Bilingual in French
