We are seeking a dedicated and engaged instructional leader who is committed to working collaboratively at H.W.Pickup School ensuring a Powerful Learning Environment to improve the life chances of all students. At H.W. Pickup School, we emphasize student growth, purposeful collaboration, and a safe and caring learning environment where everyone is valued.

Using the Collaborative Response mindset, we are committed to pursuing authentic growth for every student to pursue our goal “to support the academic growth, independence, and character development of every student we serve”.

H.W. Pickup is a grade five through eight middle school located in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We serve a population of approximately 470 students.

A complete package will include a cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single google or pdf document. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable as a condition of employment.

The competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found but all applications received by April 30 will be guaranteed consideration..
