In-Person English Teacher - OCT Required (Summer 2026)

Master Choice Learning is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable English teacher who enjoys working with students from K-G8.

This is a part-time position with a mix of either in-person and virtual classes. The ideal candidate would need to be flexible on weekends and a minimum of 2 weekdays. Hours vary from 5-10 hours on a weekly basis for each teacher, schedules are confirmed per Semester (Fall, Winter, Summer).

In-person classes will be held at our physical location. (L3R 1J5, Markham, ON)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Encourage high standards in student progress and level of understanding in English;
Support and motivate students to challenge themselves as learners;
Teach individual students in one-on-one settings and in small group;
Customize teaching methods to meet the learning styles of students;
Complete learning summary after each session for students to critical reflect on lesson taught;
Create individualized, curriculum-based teaching plans for each student based on his or her assessment.
Deliver lessons with the aim of achieving the objectives of our institution.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experiences Teaching English under the Ontario Curriculum.
Eligibility to work in Canada.
OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) certification required.
Outstanding communication skills and personality. Have the ability to lead an engaging classes in a online and in-person setting.
