About the Role

As a Duty Engineer at Accor, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the overall day-to-day operations. You will confirm and adhere to the policies, procedures, and rules, regulations laid down by Ibis Thane to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
• People Management: Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination, co-operation with all departments of Ibis Thane to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service.
• Financial Management: Ensure optimal, cost-effective use of resources and educate the team on the same.
• Operational Management: Check and ensure that the temperature of cold stores, public areas, etc., are maintained as per specifications; coordinate with other departments for regular servicing and testing of equipment.

Liaises with Engineering Department, Supervisors, Technicians, Occupational Health, Safety, Employee Responsibility, and Replacement and Temporary Mission.

All employees must safeguard their health and safety and the health and safety of others in the workplace. Be ready and responsible for any job assigned by the Management.

Applies the hotel's security regulations in case of fire, etc.; respects the hotel's commitments to the Environment Charter, saving energy, recycling, sorting waste, etc., and meets Ibis' ISO 14001 environmental commitments as applicable to the role if the hotel is involved in the programme.
