Pharmacy Assistant/Technician (Experienced)

Pharmacy Assistant/Technician for a pharmacy in Scarborough.

Position Type: Part Time (Saturdays and one more days on weekdays, 8-12 hrs shifts)

Key responsibilities of a Remedy’s Pharmacy Assistant/Technician include:

Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
Must be efficient in data entry (Rx ) in Fillware and TP adjudication
Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
Handling customer prescription pick up, Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma
Certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant/Technician program preferred
At least 2 years experience is required as a Pharmacy Assistant/Tech preferably in Fillware software
Excellent computer skills with good typing speed
Excellent organization skills, proactive, team player, strong motivated
· Attractive salary will be provided for right candidate

WORK HOURS: Saturday: 10/11 am to closing at around +/10 pm and Wednesday: + am to 7 pm
