Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: India (On-site)

Role Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Implement ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize and tune existing data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Work on data modeling for both transactional and analytical systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processing issues in production.
• Develop automated workflows for data ingestion and processing.
• Participate in the design of data architecture in the Snowflake environment.
• Implement data governance and security best practices.
• Work closely with data analysts to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Document data engineering processes and workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data engineering and cloud technologies.
• Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior data engineers.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and related data technologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Python or similar languages for data processing.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
