Job Description
Wancho Claims & Legal Services is looking for Law Clerk/ Legal Assistant. We are a paralegal firm mainly dealing with personal injury and Small Claims Court matters.
Responsibilities:
Administrative duties, including email and calendar management, scheduling meetings, scanning, photocopying and faxing documents etc.
Responding to client inquiries and insurance adjuster's requests, communicating with medical clinics, and handling all correspondence.
Answering/ Screening phone calls and greeting visitors.
Maintaining online and paper based filing system.
Performing legal research, preparing pertinent forms and documents, and other such duties as required.
Requirements:
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Willing to train the right candidate.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Adobe would be an asset.
Preferred: Candidates residing in close proximity to the office for seamless collaboration.
