We're looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Designer to join our team to help in the continued growth and success of our brand.

We design our products for everyday activities: walking the dog, daily commute, playing in the snow and going for a jog. It’s not so much about the great outdoors as it is about what’s right outside your door.

We believe we can make the cold easier on everyone, maybe even fun.

Duties

Research the market place and trends
Contribute to the upcoming season’s collection
Develop technical drawings and specs of the product line
Assess & communicate with overseas office and suppliers: comments on samples and production
Abide by and use the Hot Paws brand guidelines for all aspects of the job
Contribute to product copywrite on online platforms
Experience

Required:

Degree in fashion design
2-5 years of experience in the field
Bilingual (French and English) oral and written
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
General knowledge and genuine interest in the winter season (sports, fashion, trends, etc).
Organized, respectful of deadlines and a team player
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
