Job Summary
The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
- Must be able to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex vehicle problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an automotive technology program or relevant work experience
- ASE certification preferred
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Note: This is an hourly position, not flat rate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.33-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
