Job Description

Overview

Casper Mobility is building the future of aerial mobility — and that future must be secure. We’re hiring a Cybersecurity & Systems Integrity Engineer to lead our efforts in securing the voice systems (Vos), flight control software, Smart Sky Grid communication, and OTA protocols for Air Casper vehicles.

You’ll work at the intersection of embedded flight systems, AI-powered interfaces, and real-time wireless networks — defending every line of code, every transmission, and every command.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement cybersecurity architecture for in-flight systems, Echo/Vos interfaces, and Smart Sky Grid routing
Build threat detection and response systems for onboard and offboard comms
Develop encryption strategies for voice data, HUD overlays, and pilot commands
Ensure secure OTA software updates and vehicle-to-cloud communication
Collaborate with AI, Flight Software, and Simulation teams to stress test failure and intrusion scenarios
Contribute to certification documentation for Transport Canada and global standards (DO-326A, ISO 21434)

Preferred Skills & Experience

5+ years in cybersecurity or systems integrity roles, preferably in aerospace, EV, or AI-enabled devices
Familiarity with RTOS, embedded Linux, or flight control environments
Knowledge of secure comms protocols (TLS, MQTT, MAVLink encryption, etc.)
Experience with intrusion detection, key rotation, and air-gapped updates
Bonus: Hands-on with AI/voice interface security, or vehicle system penetration testing
