Chief Operating Officer

Overview

Casper Mobility is building Canada’s first aerial mobility ecosystem — including electric flying vehicles, Smart Sky Grid air lanes, modular energy swap stations, and a national flight academy. We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help transform this bold vision into an operational reality.

You’ll work closely with the Founder and CTO to scale our operations, lead infrastructure and manufacturing execution, and build the organizational backbone needed to take Casper from prototype to deployment. This is a high-impact, high-integrity role for a proven operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and mission-driven teams.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional operations across engineering, flight systems, energy infrastructure, and simulation teams
Develop and manage internal operating systems, OKRs, and strategic growth timelines
Oversee manufacturing and supply chain partnerships, site deployment readiness, and system scaling
Coordinate grant deliverables, investor reporting, and financial forecasting with CFO and Founder
Optimize hiring, onboarding, and team performance across all Casper divisions
Maintain alignment between engineering milestones and go-to-market timelines
Support compliance efforts with Transport Canada and other public partners

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years in operations, manufacturing, aerospace, mobility, or infrastructure startups
Proven ability to build internal systems and scale early-stage teams
Strong leadership, communication, and execution skills
Experience navigating government programs, grant milestones, or regulatory partnerships
Bonus: Prior experience as a startup COO, Head of Ops, or launch lead in climate tech or advanced mobility
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
