Head of Infrastructure & Energy Systems

Overview

Casper Mobility is building Canada’s first aerial mobility ecosystem — electric flying vehicles, smart sky lanes, and energy hubs for a cleaner, connected future. We are seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure & Energy Systems to lead the development of our Energy Nests — modular battery swap stations designed for rooftop, rural, dockside, and desert deployment.

This role is pivotal in turning vision into scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines expertise in energy systems, project management, and sustainable design with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through design, build, and deployment cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee planning, prototyping, and rollout of Casper’s modular Energy Nest systems
Lead site integration for renewable energy sources (solar, wind, microgrid)
Coordinate with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
Develop infrastructure cost models, logistics plans, and maintenance protocols
Ensure systems meet safety, environmental, and accessibility standards
Contribute to the broader infrastructure vision alongside Smart Sky Grid and Air Casper vehicle teams

Qualifications

7+ years experience in infrastructure, energy systems, or engineering leadership
Strong background in sustainable infrastructure or electric mobility
Experience with modular systems, battery technology, or EV charging infrastructure
Excellent project and team leadership capabilities
Familiarity with Canadian building codes and safety standards is a plus
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
