Accountant

Main Responsibilities:

Data compilation (e.g. salary and wages)
Recording Keeping
Spreadsheet generation and analysis
Assisting clients on using accounting software for bookkeeping
Assisting clients in examining operating costs and formulating budgetary and accounting policies
Preparation of Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements and Payroll Tax returns for our clients
Preparing financial statements for presentation to clients
Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
Assist in conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits and advising on matters such as the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud
Assist in providing financial and taxation advice with firm’s partner on business structures, plans and operations
Assist in preparing taxation returns for individuals and organisations
Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
