Security Guards - Victoria

What We Are Looking For:

We’re building a Security Guard Talent Pool, if you’re passionate about safety, enjoy working with people, and can stay focused during fast-paced events — we want to hear from you! The role often involves standing for prolonged periods, frequently outdoors, so resilience and stamina are essential.

What You Will Be Doing:
As an ACESGroup Security Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and success of each event.
Your responsibilities may include:

Welcoming and assisting event attendees with a customer-focused approach
Managing ticketing and credential checks at entry points
Conducting bag checks for restricted and prohibited items
Roaming through crowds to monitor behaviour and ensure a safe environment
Managing crowd flow and providing event and venue information
Securing event perimeters and managing restricted areas (e.g., backstage, performance zones, field of play)
Protecting event assets and key personnel
Monitoring, responding to, and reporting incidents
Preparing general security reports and logs
What You Will Need:
To be eligible for a Security role, you must have:

A valid VIC Security Licence
Current First Aid Certificate
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (preferred)
Flexibility to work dynamic hours — including evenings and weekends
Strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service
Punctuality, reliability, and a professional attitude
An appreciation for events, sports, and entertainment
Physical endurance to stand and stay alert for long periods — often outdoors
