The Library is seeking to fill the ongoing role of Senior Systems Administrator – Network Engineer (EL1) within the Technology Operations Section of the Digital Branch.

Whilst this is a specialist technical role, it is a senior role, and it forms part of the Section’s leadership team.

As the Senior Systems Administrator – Network Engineer you will develop, administer and maintain network infrastructure, including storage and network components. You will manage and support business continuity/disaster recovery infrastructure and will collaborate with Technology Operations subject matter experts and external vendors to install, upgrade, configure, tune and troubleshoot Network Infrastructure.

Our ideal candidate will be a team player who has a confident and engaging personality and thrives in a fast-paced troubleshooting role to provide exceptional customer service.

You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for leading a team and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. It will be essential to understand their individual needs, interests, and concerns to achieve successful outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications and/or specific certifications/technical training in an IT related specialisation will also be highly regarded.
