Role Description


We seek a Senior High Voltage Engineer to join our team full-time on-site at O'Brien Electrical Engineering and Contractors in Ballarat. In this role, you will:

Troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
Design and implement Primary circuits and Protection systems.
Lead commissioning, maintenance, and fault response testing and analysis of results.
Qualifications

Troubleshooting fault analysis using protection relay software and test results
Experience in High Voltage primary design
Experience in protection and earth system design using software and test results
Knowledge of onsite testing, using secondary & primary injection test sets
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication. collaboration and leadership skills
Project supervision
Balance of plant maintenance experience
Key Client Management
Business Development & Continuous Improvement Mindset
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience in High Voltage project estimation
