ICI Construction Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Projects
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ICI (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional) Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality results within budget and schedule constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee water and wastewater construction projects and other ICI projects from planning to completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations related to water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and client updates.
- Resolve construction-related challenges while maintaining quality control and project efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing ICI construction projects, specifically in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Strong knowledge of municipal water systems, stormwater management, and wastewater treatment.
- Expertise in construction contracts, procurement, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Procore.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving project demands.
