Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated and willing to learn as this shop works on a variety of vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles that leave the shop are safe for our customers. Our shop completes a wide range of services from oil changes, and tire changes, to specializing in transmission rebuilds and engine rebuilds and replacements and everything in between.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate testing methods and tools.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools, and power tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
