Transportation Refrigeration Mechanic

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a variety of equipment and machinery.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
Build and assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
Clean class 5 drivers license.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
Experience with Diesel engines or small engines, HVAC systems.
Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
