Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Parramatta
Employment Type: Part-Time

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and support sustainable business performance in line with NDIS guidelines.

Position Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the organisation’s financial health, ensuring compliance with NDIS pricing arrangements and guidelines, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. This role involves overseeing budgeting, reporting, forecasting, payroll, and compliance processes, while working closely with executive leadership and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Ensure compliance with ATO, ASIC, and NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements
Monitor and report on the financial impact of NDIS price guide changes
Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team
Manage financial audits and coordinate with external accountants
Maintain robust financial controls and processes
Support funding applications, grant management, and acquittal reporting
Train and support staff in financial procedures and systems
Lead financial planning for business expansion and service development
Qualifications & Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA/CA qualified (preferred)
Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management, ideally within health, community services, or NDIS sectors
Strong knowledge of NDIS pricing arrangements, service claims, and payment systems (PRODA, myplace portal)
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Excellent understanding of Australian financial regulations and compliance standards
Key Competencies:

High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Leadership and team collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Desirable:

Experience in managing NDIS service provider finances
Understanding of the Support Model and person-centred service delivery
Familiarity with cloud-based financial and rostering systems (e.g., Orangised)
